- Marques and Almeida (ICASSP 1986, p1233): Using
Gaussian window and iterative procedure, estimate multiple
chirp parameters for multiple spectral peaks.
- Julius O. Smith III
(http://www-ccrma.stanford.edu/ jos/Gauss/): Using
Gaussian Window, obtain more robust initial chirp
parameter estimate. Could be used in iterative procedure
as in M+A. (See also comparison of JOS and M+A methods, on
http://www-ccrma.stanford.edu/ asmaster/marquesproof/marquesproof/marquesproof.html)
- Master and Liu (ICASSP 2003): Using Hann (NOT
Gaussian) window, obtain robust initial chirp parameter
estimates. Uses a Fresnel integral analysis.
- Why Hann window instead of Gaussian window? Hann
window has more reliable constant-overlap-and-add (COLA)
property. Makes the ugly math worth it...
