| Dr. Janet Dunbar earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in composition, computer music and recording from Stanford University (CCRMA). Her latest CD entitled "Spirit Journey"has been hailed by music critics for its visionary quality. On the international scene, virtuoso performers have catalogued, performed and recorded her music, for example, Duo46, the award-winning violin and guitar duo in Cyprus, Turkey, and Susan Davis Holmes in Freiburg, Germany. Her music has received extensive airplay in the United States and abroad. Dunbar's music reflects a lifelong interest in world music and the diverse influences of her many teachers. However, her style is so unique and eclectic that it is almost impossible to categorize. |
