Apocalypse was postponed due to lack of interest was composed at CCRMA, Stanford University, during the summer of 1994 under the Rockefeller Exchange Program. The generation, transformation, and mixing of the sounds for this piece were done in a NeXT computer using Bill Schottstaedt's CLM.

The structure of the piece presents a continuous evolution of a group of heterogeneous materials (synthetic sounds, New York AM radio recordings, Witold Gombrowicz's texts read in Polish, etc.). Sounds objects undergo different kinds of mutations in short and long term, creating by their interaction textures with distinctive morphology. The title of the piece expresses the feeling I had about the world at the time of its composition.

In 1995, Apocalypse was postponed due to lack of interest was awarded the Residence price at the Concours International de Musique Electroacoustique de Bourges, France.
